Based on the job role, assets like laptops, mobile phones, tablets, etc. might be assigned to an employee. The assets assigned to an employee can be recorded in Keka. In case an asset has already been assigned, but you need to change some asset details, Keka gives you the ability to update them.
To update asset details, go to the Org (1) section and select Assets (2). Here navigate to Assigned Assets (3). Then, search for the asset you would like to update and click on the 3 Dots (4), and select Edit Asset Details (5) under it.
Alternatively, you can go to the employee profile and look for the assets assigned to them to edit the asset details. To do this, search for the employee name/number in the Global search (6) and then go to their profile.
Here go to Assets (7) and click on the 3 Dots (8) under Actions for the asset you would like to edit and select Edit Asset Details (9).
In the Edit asset details page make the necessary changes and click on Update Asset (10) to save these changes.
