How to recover an asset from an employee ?

Managing assets is a key part of any organization, whether it's assigning new equipment or collecting assets when an employee exits. With Keka, you can handle asset recovery smoothly, without the need for manual paperwork.


To recover an asset from an employee, first go to the Org (1) section in the Keka Portal. From there, navigate to the Assets (2) tab and then click on Asset List (3).


 

To recover a specific asset, find it in the Asset List and look for the 3 dots (1) under the Actions Column. Click on those dots and then select Recover Asset (2). This starts the process of getting the asset back from the employee.



Once the Recover Asset window appears, fill in the Employee Name who returned the asset, the Asset Recovery Date, and the Asset Condition. If you have additional comments, you can include a note.


After entering all the details, click on Save. Doing so completes the asset recovery process for that employee.


Note: Bulk asset recovery isn't available currently.
