This feature will provide the kanban view of candidates within the job. The Kanban cards are well-equipped with all the necessary information and required actions.
This feature aims to address three main issues: the inability to search for candidates across hiring stages, the inability to manage & take bulk actions on candidates across stages, and the lack of visibility across stages for a particular job. With this, the hiring team will be able to manage all the job candidates in one place and work more efficiently. This document provides an overview of the feature and explains how to use it.
- Accessing the Kanban View
To access the Kanban View for Job Candidates, go to Jobs > Candidates. By default, the view will be in list format. To switch to the kanban view, click on the "Kanban" button in the upper right corner.
- Filters
In the kanban view, there are several filters available to help you find the candidates you are looking for. These include:
Source: Allows you to filter candidates by the source of their application.
Sourced on: Allows you to filter candidates by the date they were sourced.
Experience: Allows you to filter candidates by their overall experience.
Availability: Allows you to filter candidates by their availability.
Owner: Allows you to filter candidates by their owner.
- Kanban Cards
Each candidate is represented by a kanban card that includes their name, email address, phone number, and overall experience. You can take various actions on a candidate by hovering over their card. These actions include:
Adding a rating
Sending an assessment
Scheduling interview
Moving the candidate to a different stage
Moving the candidate to other job
Viewing candidate activity
Copying the candidate's email address
Archiving candidate
Sending email to the candidate
Updating candidate owner
- Candidate Stages
The kanban view shows all the hiring stages for the job, and each stage is represented by a column. The number of candidates in each stage is displayed next to the stage name. To move a candidate to a different stage, simply drag their card from one column to another.
Interview stage: Once a candidate is moved to the interview stage, the system will display the information of "Interview not scheduled in this stage" if no interview has been arranged with the candidate at this stage, regardless of any previous interviews scheduled in the sourcing or screening stages. This helps the hiring team to identify which candidates require an interview to be scheduled.
Further, once an interview is scheduled, if feedback is pending, the system will display "Feedback Pending" enabling recruiters to follow up with interviewers to provide feedback.
This provides better visibility and allows for a more streamlined management of the interview process.
- Sorting and Searching
You can sort candidates in the kanban view by name, sourced on, and experience. You can also search for candidates by name, email address, or phone number.
- Bulk Actions
You can select multiple candidates by hovering over their profile initials and take bulk actions on them. This allows you to move multiple candidates to a different stage, add ratings, send email, update owner, archive, move to other job, move to other stage and send assessments to multiple candidates at once.
- Archived Jobs
For archived jobs, the kanban view will be read-only and no actions can be taken.
Overall, the Kanban View for job candidates is a valuable feature for hiring teams to manage candidates efficiently and effectively. With its user-friendly interface, filters, and customizable kanban cards, the feature allows for easy sorting, searching, and taking bulk actions on candidates. By utilizing the Kanban view, hiring teams can simplify their workflow and focus on finding the best candidates for the job.
