Launching and Managing Pulse for your Organization

Pulses are important engagement initiatives aimed at evaluating employee happiness effortlessly. With a simple click, the pulse is activated, and within 24 hours, your employees will receive pulse notifications. With a 10 point scoring system, you also get quite a lot of insights . This article explores the seamless process of initiating the pulse and its importance in enhancing employee engagement.

Managing Pulse Global Permissions

There are certain permissions required to track and initiate pulse for an organization. These permissions are classified as Manage Pulses and View Pulse Analytics. Users with the Manage Pulses role can initiate and access Pulse and its analytics. Whereas, users with View Pulse Analytics can only view the pulse data of their organization. 


To manage these permissions, click on Global Settings (1) and navigate to Roles & Permissions (2). Click on Pencil Icon (3) of any user role to whom you wish to assign access to handling pulse. 



Select the roles as per your choice and click on Update.



Accessing Past Data

To access the past pulse data i.e. data collected on or before 2nd February 2024 click on the hyperlink Access Past Data.



Initiating Pulse 

To start pulse, click on Org (1) from the left navigation menu and navigate to Engage (2). Under engage tab click on Pulse (3). Click on Start Pulse (4) to initiate Pulse for your organisation.





Soon after initiating the pulse, you will find a pop with a set of instructions that users must be aware of before starting the pulse. After understanding the instructions click on Continue (5) to begin with the launching of the pulse.



Click on Resume Pulse in Org to resume Pulse for your organizations. 



Pausing Pulse for your organisation

For any reason, if you wish to pause pulse for your organization, click on Pause Pulse in Org and in the confirmation pop up click on Pause Pulse.
