One-on-one meetings are critical in ensuring an effective feedback model for ongoing employee growth. These meetings provide managers and their direct reports with an opportunity to discuss projects, review performance, address obstacles, and more, thereby fostering a deeper connection between the manager and employee. Additionally, these meetings offer employees a platform to discuss their progress, challenges, and goals.

Tracking one-on-one meetings

Keeping track of these meetings can offer valuable insights into the progress of the review cycle and employee growth across different departments. You can access this information by navigating to the Performance (1) section and opening the 1:1 Meetings (2) tab. Here, you can view the number of meetings scheduled completed, and those yet to happen for the selected Department(s) and Time range

Clicking on the View Report option under completed meetings displays the details and summary of the meetings that occurred in the last month or any date range of your choosing.

Given the significance of these meetings, it is essential to ensure that all employees have a 1:1 meeting scheduled within the selected timeframe. You can Remind the reporting managers of such employees to schedule a 1:1 meeting with their reportees as soon as possible. You can send reminders to entire departments simultaneously.

This section also includes several charts that provide a quick overview of the 1:1 meetings status.

The first chart presents a summary of the number of meetings scheduled, completed, and yet to happen for all departments.

The next graph displays the usage of 1:1 meetings over time for the selected timeframe, showing volumetric trends of the number of scheduled and completed meetings.

If you wish to understand the progress of these meetings department-wise, you can refer to the Scheduled Vs Completed Meetings - All Departments report.

And all of these graphs can be downloaded as images too, should the need arise.

Scheduling one-on-one meetings

While 1:1 meetings are usually scheduled at the employee level or while creating review cycles, you can also schedule 1:1 meetings with anyone in the organization if required. To schedule a 1:1 meeting, click on Schedule 1:1 Meeting button.

You can also add talking points for the meeting by selecting from the template or adding a new talking point. Once done, click on 'Schedule' to schedule the 1:1 meeting.

1:1 meetings are crucial to employee growth and success. By utilising the features available in the 1:1 Meetings tab, you can ensure that every employee receives the attention and support they need to thrive.
