Using the project list page

Modified on Tue, 12 Mar at 12:11 PM

The project list page gives you at-a-glance information regarding the various projects that have been added and managed using Keka Professional Services Automation (PSA). The project list is integral in helping you keep track of the different projects active in the system and see the status of each.

How can you use the project list page?

The project list feature can do a lot! You can view the various projects configured in the system, and you can also add,  edit, or archive a project. The Active Projects tab on this page lets you view the projects that are currently active. The Archived Projects tab will show you details of the past projects that have been archived.

For each project, you can also view the client that the project is associated with, the name of the project manager, the billing type of the project, and more. You can also filter the list according to the project status or clients. These features will let you view information regarding the different projects quickly.

Let us now see how you can view the project list and see the various actions that you can perform on this window.

Tracking projects using the project list page.

To view the project list page, navigate to Project (1) from the left navigation pane and select the Projects tab (2). Here, ensure you're on the Project List tab (3) to view the projects currently configured on the system.

You can create a project from the top of the page by clicking on the +Create Project button. You can also view the different tabs such as Active Projects, All Projects, and Archived Projects here.

Active Projects

You will be on the Active Projects tab by default which shows you the various projects that are currently active. This includes any project that has been added to Keka PSA and has not been archived. You will only see projects that have the status In Progress here.

You can use the filters given at the top of the page to filter down the project list based on aspects like Client or Project Type.

Here, you can view the Project Name with the Project Code, Client Name, Billing Type for the project, the Duration of the project as well as the name of the Project Manager.

Click on the three dots (...) under the Actions column to view more actions. You can update the details of the project by selecting Update. Clicking on Archive will archive the project. Selecting Delete will delete that project from Keka PSA.

All Projects

The All Projects tab is useful if you want to view the details of all the projects in Keka PSA including past projects that have been archived. This tab is useful if you want to view other projects that are canceled, completed, or yet to start.

You can perform different actions on the projects listed here by clicking on the three dots under Actions. You can Update the project, Archive the project or Delete the project as you wish from this screen.

The filters on top of the page also allow you to view specific projects based on parameters like the Client that the project is assigned to, the status of the project, and also the billing type.

Archived Projects

As the name indicates, you can view the details of projects that have been archived in Keka PSA here. You can see detailed information here.

Clicking on the three dots under Actions will give you the option to unarchive the project and move it to the all projects list.
