Projects- Overview

The projects feature is a central cog of Keka PSA. It allows you to manage the various projects that you are currently running for different clients. You can configure the projects to add all the relevant information and manage related aspects like resources working on the projects, the tasks that have been assigned to these resources, and more. There are also aspects like project health that can be used to track the progress of these projects.

Features under projects

Here are some of the important features that are built into the Keka PSA that make the project feature a robust tool for your project management needs.

Manage tasks in the project

The tasks feature enables the project managers to add and manage tasks associated with the project and assign them to the resources working on the project.  There are some other aspects like task status and progress that helps project managers and resources stay updated about the progress across the various tasks and phases in a project.

Manage Resources

You have the option to search and add resources to the project and assign tasks to them as a part of the project. The resources work on these tasks and update the status and the time that they spend working on these tasks using timesheets. The project managers can also make resource requests in case they need more people working on the project.

Manage client billing

Billing clients for the work done on the projects can be tricky without the help of a tool like Keka PSA. You can set up billing as you would prefer using the billing section in Keka PSA. You can create invoices with various line items and product costs included in them. You can also manage client payments by marking payments as received and also features like raising credit notes and more.

Project Health and reports

Other project-related features in Keka PSA include reports and project health. There are reports like Resource work hours and Task work hours that can help you dig deeper into the project details and see how the project is being managed. Project Health is an important aspect that helps you keep track of the status of the project based on different parameters like progress, employee experience, and more.
