To effectively manage Keka Learn and to keep the content relevant and fresh, having access to various privileges is crucial. These privileges empower administrators to oversee different aspects of the learning process and make informed decisions. Whether it's monitoring course progress, managing enrolments, or analysing user data, having the right privileges ensures smooth operation and optimization of the learning experience. In this article let us understand how to manage roles and permissions for various privileges for Keka Learn.
To assign learn privileges, you will need to create a learn privilege role first and then add users to it, let us see the process in detail.
Creating Learn Privilege Roles
To setup administrative role for Keka Learn click on the Global Settings (1) and navigate to Roles and Permissions (2). In the User Roles tab, click on New Role (3).
On the left-hand side Features menu scroll down to find the option of Learners (4). You will see a list of privileges for learners, each with a checkbox next to it. Click on the checkboxes to give the specific permissions you want for the role you are creating. You can also choose to select all the privileges if needed.
After choosing the required privileges click on Save (5) to create a new role with Learn Privileges.
Adding Users
After creating a new role, click on the Manage Users next to the role created.
Now you will be redirected to the manage roles tab, where you can search the employee by name and add them.
You can also further define the scope for a user and give them access to the privileges of the role for that particular cohort. Let's say you want to add a separate learning manager for a particular location or a department.
Click on +Add New Scope and then search for the particular department or location. Search and add a user for this scope.
Click on Save once you have added all the users to the role.
