Setting Up Resource Allocation End Reminders

Resources in the organization are assigned to various projects for a certain period, after completion of their tenure in a project it is essential to allocate them to another project in order to manage there efficiency. This process can be optimized using Event Trigger. This feature of Keka enable organizations to receive a reminder about the end date of resource allocation which wil keep them informed that a certain resource has completed or about the completed there allocated period with a project. use this and above generated to message and create a good intro. 


To add an event trigger for resource allocation end date, click on Global Settings (1)




In global settings tab, click on to Integrations and Automation (2) and navigate to Event Triggers (3) and search for Resource allocation end date (4).



In the resource allocation end date, you can set three levels of triggers out of which the first trigger Execute on the day is set by default and cannot be changed. Click on Add Action to a mode of trigger




For all the levels of actions there are three triggers i.e Send Email, Slack Notification and Webhook. Let us understand them in detail


Send Email : Select this option if you want to send a reminder via email for the resource allocation end date. Start by naming the action email and choosing the recipients. The recipients can be chosen from either employee roles or Keka user roles. Additionally, you can also add a resource assignment link. Click on Create to save your settings.



Slack Notification : If you wish to send a notification in an channel, provide the link of the channel in the URL space and a name for the action. Click on Test to try and integrate the URL provided. Now click ion Create to save your settings.



Webhook : Webhook's typically are used to connect two different applications. When an event happens on the trigger application, it serializes data about that event and sends it to a webhook URL from the action application—the one you want to do something based on the data from the first application. 



For the next two levels you can set the number of days prior to which it should be triggered. Click on the Pencil Icon to edit the time period. 



You can also Delete these levels of event triggers by clicking on the Delete Icon.


Note:Please note that while you're unable to delete the initial event trigger, you can remove the last two levels of reminders.
