Exits encompass employees either resigning from the organization or being terminated by the organization. In cases of the latter, the terminated employee often becomes ineligible for reapplying to the same job in the future. To address this, the "Ok to Rehire" option for the employee should be enabled/disabled. Typically, this step is taken during exit approval. However, if it's overlooked, you can make this adjustment even after the exit has been approved.
To change the Rehire status go to Org (1) and select Exits (2). Here move to In Exit process (3). Now search for the employee you want and open the menu under Actions and select Process & Settle (4).
Here in the Exit Notice section, you will see the Exit Details available on the right. Now click the Edit Icon available beside Exit Details.
In the window Enable/Disable Ok to Rehire based on your requirement and click Update.
Hope the process to change the Rehire status of an employee in exit is now clear. Need more help? You can refer to the other articles available or Contact us!
