How to configure settings to mark employee as absent if they have not completed the minimum number of working hours?

In this article we are going how to mark an employee as absent in case they have not completed a defined number of work hours.


To do this, go to Time Attend (1) and select Attendance tracking (2). Here move to Tracking Policy (3) and choose the tracking policy you want.



Now in the Tracking Policy move to Versions and click the Edit Icon available.



In the first page select todays date or a future date you want this to be effective from. You cannot choose past dated policy changes/. After selecting the date click on Save & Continue.



Now in the pop up check the box for I understand and wish to proceed and click Save.



Then move to No Attendance and under Do you consider employee to be present, only when they complete a minimum number of work hours in a day? select Yes and enter the number of hours in the box provided and select you need the hours as Effective hours or Gross hours.



 Once this is done click Save the settings till you reach the last page and close it.
