When an employees chooses to resign, it is usually done by discussing it with their manager or any Admin. After the discussion is done, if the employee still decides to resign, then the reporting manager or the admins initiate the exit on behalf of the employee. Some organizations choose to give employees the access to initiate the exit instead of the managers or admins interfering. If the option Show Resignation Form for the employees to resign from the organization. is enabled in the Resignation settings under Exit settings then employees can initiate the resignation from their end.
To do this Employees can go to Profile available as shown below.
Now in the Profile under Actions click Resign From Job.
Enter the details as requested in the Window and click Submit Resignation.
