How to configure penalty for missing swipe?

For an organization, punctuality is essential to ensure smooth operations and maintain productivity. However, exist there are times when employees may miss the swipes (missing swipes exist when biometric attendance login is enabled) due to unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic or personal emergencies, etc. Hence, Keka provides you with an option to configure a penalty for missing swipes.

Follow the below path to configure the same -

Go to the Time Attend (1) section of the Keka Portal and click on Attendance Tracking (2). Then click on Tracking Policy.

Then select any Tracking policy under which Late Arrivals need to be updated. Here, we are taking Executive Tracking Policy (1) for instance. Then go to the Versions (2) tab, and click on the Pen Icon (3) of the latest updated policy.

There is a total of 5 steps to complete the Tracking policy. You need to go to the 5th step i.e., Missing Swipes (1). Now configure the settings (2) for the penalty of missing swipes. Then click on Save & Close (3).
