Keka’s Goal Insights feature empowers Department Heads & Managers with a comprehensive overview and deep insights related to department goals and employee progress related to goals.


In this article we will discuss in detail on the Goal Insights.


How to access Goal Insights?
1. Go to My Team  from the left navigation pane on your Keka HR Portal. Select the Performance tab and go to the Goal Insights tab. 



Goal Insights is divided into two separate Insights:

  • Department Insights
  • Employee Insights

Department Insights:


Department Head will be able to access this insights and this will have detailed insights related to the department goals. In Keka’s goal module there are 3 different types of goal basically Individual, Department and Company.

What are the different types of goal?


Individual:  Individual goals are specific performance objectives set for each employee to align their work with organisational goals. These objectives are tailored to reflect an individual's responsibilities, skills, and career development.


Department: Department goals, on the other hand, are broader objectives that align with the goals of a particular department. These objectives take into account the collective efforts of the team members within the department and contribute to the overall success of the department's initiatives.


Company: Company goals are high-level objectives that encompass the entire organization. These objectives are aligned with the overall strategic goals and vision of the company.

Below are some of the key insights related to department insights.

Employees:

This will display the total count of employees in the selected department.


Department goals:

This will display the total count of department goals in the selected department.

Departments without goals:

This  will indicate whether the currently selected department has set any goals by displaying a count. Additionally, a 'View' action button will be available to navigate to the details of the department's goals.


Departments goals not updated:

This will provide the count of department goals which has been not updated. Along with that there will be action button View to navigate the details along with a View button to access all the department related goals.


Department goals by status:

This will offer a detailed breakdown of the overall goal status. Goals will be categorized by their status count and this information will be displayed in a graphical donut chart.


Department goal progress:

This will display the average progress of goals for the selected department within the chosen timeframe.


Unaligned department goals:

This will provide the count of department goals which are not aligned.


Department goals overview:

This will be presented in a table format and it will list department name. Adjacent to the department name, the table will display various goal-related metrics. These include the total count of goals, the count of unaligned goals, and the status of each goal - whether not started, on track, needs attention, at risk, or closed. In addition, the table will show goal progress and the duration since the last update. This comprehensive layout provides an effective snapshot of each employee's goal journey.


Employee Insights:


Both Department Heads and Managers will have access to this insights, which will provide detailed information related to employee goals. Department Heads will be able to view data for all employees within their department. Meanwhile, Managers will have access exclusively to information related to employees who report to them.

Below are some of the key insights related to employee insights.


Employees:

This will display the total count of employees.


Goals:

This will present the total count of goals associated with the employees.


Employees without goals:

This will display the count of employees who have not created any goals. In addition, there will be an action button available to remind these employees to add their goals. Upon clicking 'remind', a table will appear showing a list of these employees. Users will then have the option to select specific employees from this list and remind them to add their goals via email.


Employees goals not updated:

This will display the count of employees who have not updated their goals. In addition, there will be an action button available to remind these employees to add their goals. Upon clicking 'remind', a table will appear showing a list of these employees. Users will then have the option to select specific employees from this list and remind them to update their goals via email.


Total goals:

This will display the total count of goals, along with a breakdown based on goal type, all presented in a graphical donut chart.


Goals by status:

This will offer a detailed breakdown of the overall goal status. Goals will be categorised by their status count and this information will be displayed in a graphical donut chart.


Unaligned goals:

This will display the total count of goals which are not aligned, along with a breakdown based on goal type, all presented in a graphical donut chart.


Employee goals overview: 

This will be presented in a table format and it will list each employee's name alongside their job title. Adjacent to each employee, the table will display various goal-related metrics. These include the total count of goals, the count of unaligned goals, and the status of each goal - whether not started, on track, needs attention, at risk, or closed. In addition, the table will show goal progress and the duration since the last update. This comprehensive layout provides an effective snapshot of each employee's goal journey.
