After a candidate has cleared all rounds of interviews they are moved to Preboarding. This is where the candidate's Background Verification (hereby referred to as BGV) is done and post successful verification is offered the job. You can choose the documents which can be requested from the candidate for their BGV and also modify them in case required.
Here, the first step is to see if the Employee documents added in Keka are synced with keka HIRE. To sync them go to Settings (1) and under Offers & Documents select Documents (2). Here under the Documents use click here (3) avialable under Documents.
In the Pop-up select the Documents you want and click Sync. This will sync the selected documents from Keka to HIRE.
Now move to Preboarding and under Start, you can see employees whose preboarding is not started. You can select employees using the check box and click Start Preboarding available on top. If you would like to do it one at a time, you can click Start Preboarding available under Actions.
Once you click Start Preboarding, you will be redirect to a page which will dispaly Documents Synced from Keka. Select documents that you want from the employee. Once all the documents are selected click Next.
In the Next page click Confirm and an email will be triggered to the employee requesting for the selected documents.
Now in case you would like to change the documents that you have requested, Move to the Collect info stage in Preboarding and under Actions click Options and select Change required docs.
Here select the revised Documents and click Next.
In the next page click Confirm and the candidates can upload the revised documents in the same link.
Hope the process to request documents from candidates and also edit the documents once requested is now clear. Need more help? You can refer to the other articles available or Contact us!
