How to change dates of leave applied?

Employees are typically required to apply for leaves in advance if it is a planned leave. In certain circumstances, an employee might select the wrong leave dates by mistake or there might be a sudden change of plans, then in that scenario, employees/admin might need to change the dates of the applied leave.


Let us see the path to change the date of leave applied:


Go to the Global Search Bar (1) of the Keka Portal and search for the name of the employee for whom the leave date needs to be changed and click on their name. Once you reach the employee's profile, click on Time (2) after which you will be redirected to the Leave (3) tab.



Scroll down to the Leave History section, click on the 3 dots (1) beside the leave dates that need to be edited, and click on Change Leave Dates (2).



A pop-up window will appear on the screen where you can enter the New Leave Dates (1) from the calendar, and click on Confirm (2).


 

And you are done, you have successfully changed the applied leave dates on Keka.


If there are no time entries of the cancelled leave date then the system will track the attendance and penalize based on the attendance tracking policy.
