Not all Holidays are mandatory Holidays. A few holidays are provided as optional holidays to cater to the needs of a specific group of people. Such holidays are classified as Floater leaves which can be applied on Specific dates in a leave calendar year.

Floater leave is a part of the default leave types available in Keka, so you only need to add it to your leave plan.

To add Floater leave to a Leave plan, Go to Time Attend (1) and select Leave (2). Under Leave navigate to Leave Plans (3) and select the Leave Plan in which you want to add the Floater Leave type. After you select the Leave Plan you Click Add Leave type (4) in the selected leave plan.

After clicking on the Add Leave type below dialogue box will pop up where you can select Floater Leave (5) under Incident and click on Save (6).

This will add the Floater Leave Type to the Leave Plan.

You can configure the Floater leave as per your requirement after it is added to your Leave Plan by clicking on Setup (7).

After clicking on Setup below is the screen which appears where you need to define the annual quota of the leave type, approval chain, and apply for the leave.
