Professional Services Automation or PSA can help you manage your services business with ease. If you are using some other tool for managing projects and timesheets in your organization or if you are starting anew, setting up and using the PSA module in the Keka HR Portal is quick and easy.
To get started, Follow the below steps:
1. Create a client
2. Setup rate card
3. Create a project
4. Add resources to the project
5. Add tasks to the project
6. Setup billing
7. Configure timesheet Policy
8. Allocate resources to timesheet policy
9. Raise invoice
Data required to set up the PSA Module
To set up the module, you would need the following information.
Clients and projects
- List of clients for whom you are running projects in your organization
- List of projects that are currently active for the various clients
- Task lists for each project.
Resources
- List of resources that have been assigned to each project.
- List of project managers for each project.
Billing
- Current billing policies for each client or project
- Rate cards for the various roles in the project.
Timesheets
- Timesheet policies that you currently have in your organization
Once you have this data ready, it is a matter of a few more steps to get your PSA module all set up and ready for use in your organization.
