How to initiate review based on joining date?

Modified on Tue, 6 Feb at 3:16 PM

Not all organizations follow the same review cycle calendar. While most cases follow January to December or April to March cycle some organizations also use the date of joining of the employees for the review process. In Keka you can configure this in the review group to start reviews based on the joining date of the employee.

You can configure Review cycle to happen based on the Joining date of an employee by creating a new review cycle.

To create a new review cycle, in Performance (1) navigate to Review (2) and you can find Review Groups. Under review groups search for Add Review Group (3).

In the window under How does your review cycle work? (4) Select Review Cycles happen based on joining date of an employee. Then under Frequency of reviews (5) select Quarterly, Half Yearly or Yearly from the dropdown. If you select yearly and an employee joins on 21 December 2022 then the review for the employee will happen on 21 December 2023. Now select the Review cycle Start date and click Next (6).

After you click next select the employees to be added in the review group using Add employees (7) and Click Complete (8).

This is how you create a review group that starts reviews based on the joining date of the employees. Need more help? You can refer other articles available or contact Us!
