During the final stages of the performance cycle, Rating Calibration comes into play. Its purpose is to guarantee that performance ratings are allocated consistently, fairly, and equitably across comparable roles. This process ensures that the assessments made align with the expectations that were set and communicated when the performance cycle began. A designated calibrator evaluates the employee's review and assigns the ultimate rating.
To enable calibration for a review cycle, navigate to Performance (1), then click on Reviews (2), and under the Review Group select the Review Cycle in which you would like to add the calibrator. Select View Progress/Initiate Review (3) (The terminology changes based on whether Review is initiated or not).
On the new page, select Post Review Process (4) and select Start Post Review Process (5).
In case you have already accessed this page and skipped the calibration, you can still enable it either by using the Toggle button available beside Calibration (6) as shown or by using the Settings (7) icon.
On the next page, select Yes under Do you want to perform calibration in this review cycle? and select the number of days you want this to be completed. Once done, click on Save (8).
