How to setup policy for continuous Punch In Mobile Application?

Modified on Tue, 6 Feb at 3:14 PM

In some of the organizations, some or all employees work remotely. Hence, Keka provides you with an option to allow employees to do remote clock-in using the Keka HR mobile app. But few organizations want to track the location of the employee working remotely at regular interval of time.

Below is the path from where we can enable continuous punch to track the location of the employees who are working remotely -

Go to the Time Attend (1) section of your Keka Portal, then click on Attendance Tracking (2) where you will be redirected to the Capture Scheme (3) tab.

select the capture scheme (If there are multiple). Then click on the edit option beside the name of the capture scheme.

Once you click on the edit option, you will be redirected to capture scheme settings where you need to click on save and continue(1) to move to the 3rd step Remote Punches(2)

Once we click on the Remote punches you need to check the box of Allow Employees to do remote clock-in using the Keka Mobile App

Once you check the box, Please check the box to Enable Continuous Punch to track the location of employees at regular intervals using the Keka mobile app.

Once you enable that option, there are different settings that you can do according to the policy of your organization like, to track the employee punch location for every x interval of time

Once all the settings are configured, complete the next 2 steps by clicking on Save & Continue.

Continuous Punch Interval should be greater than or equal to 15 mins

Once you click on Save & Continue, all the settings would be saved.

If the employee mark his attendance thorugh web clock-in the system will not track the continuous location of the employee. The continuous location is only applicable for the employees who mark the attendance from the Keka mobile application
