The Data Import feature in Keka allows you to easily upload bulk data from external sources to the portal. This is particularly useful when you need to update information such as job details, personal information, or financial details for your employees. The data can be imported by administrators, and to maintain a record of who imported which data and when the import happed, you can conveniently check the logs within Keka.

Click on Global Settings (1) (gear icon) on the top of the screen (as highlighted with an arrow mark) and then click on Data Imports (2) (as highlighted with an arrow mark) as shown in the below screen where you will be seeing the status of the import (3).

Furthermore, in the Data Imports section, simply use the search bar on the left panel to find the specific report you wish to import. Once located, you can easily proceed to Import New Data.

Another way of checking the Import data-

Go to the Org (1) section of the Keka Portal , then click on the Dashboard (2) tab, and then go to the Employee Reports (3), as shown below -

Once you are on the Employee Reports tab, scroll down to the bottom left side and go to the Employee Policies & Others section. Then click on the Import Logs (1)

Once you click on Import Logs, a window will open up will the list of all the imports. You can further select the Import Status as Pending/Completed/Failed option and the list of the employees will be filtered accordingly.

In the generated report, you will get the details of the imported data type, number of imported records, date of import, the status of the import, and the employee who has imported the data file.
