Generating Letters & Requesting Documents Using Templates

Keka's Document Templates are your keys to streamlined document management. In this article, we will explore how to effectively use these pre-made templates, allowing you to simplify your document generation and request processes, saving you time and effort. 


Let us understand the process of using a template to generate letters and request documents,


Click on Org(1) from the left navigation menu. Under the Documents(2) section select the Documents Template(3) tab.


You will now have access to a list of your existing document templates and their respective document types. For Upload Request templates, you will find the Request option, and for Letter templates, the Generate option is readily available.


Select a letter template and click Generate(4). You will be directed to the Generate Letter screen, where you will encounter two choices. You can either pick employees using the Select Employees option or import data via an Excel sheet.


When you click on select employees, a list of existing employee in the organization will be displayed where you need to click on the check box to select the employees to whom you wish to send this letter.
