An essential aspect of project management involves monitoring project-related expenses submitted by employees. This practice helps project managers maintain control over the project's budget and ensures that resources are appropriately compensated.
With Keka PSA, efficiently tracking project expenses, approval statuses, and submitted receipts becomes effortless. To access this information, navigate to the Project (1) section, and then proceed to the Projects (2) subsection. You will then land on the Project List tab, where you can select the desired project (3) from the Active Projects section to review its expenses.
Once you've chosen a project, its details section will open. Within this section, you'll find the Expense tab, where all expenses submitted under the project within the selected date range are displayed.
To locate specific expenses, use the provided filters for Expense Category and Date Range. Once you identify the desired expense, simply click on the link in the Receipts column to view the associated documents or receipts submitted by the employee.
The Expense section will only be visible if the 'Allow expenses to be billed against this project' option is enabled in Billing settings.
