How to log in to Keka using two factor authentication?

Modified on Wed, 12 Jul, 2023 at 11:46 AM

Two-factor authentication (2FA), also known as multi-factor authentication (MFA), is a security measure that adds an extra layer of protection to user accounts and systems. We have implemented 2FA to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access by requiring an additional verification step beyond a simple password. This significantly enhances the security of user accounts & systems and prevents unauthorized access to data.

Let us take a look at the steps for logging in using the 2FA method -

Go to the Keka portal by using the link.

Select your primary Login method. In this case, click on Keka Password.

Now, we enter the user email, and password, and then enter the captcha code as usual and click on Login (2).

Now, an additional step will appear titled Verify Your Identity.

As can be seen here, you will have two options to verify your access. Choose from either a text message to your registered mobile number on Keka, or an email to your registered email address.

Click on the desired option.

This will take us to the step of entering the code (1) received through a text message/email.

Once the code is entered, click on Login (2), and you should be directed to the home screen of your Keka portal.

We hope that you now have a better understanding of how to log in to Keka using two-factor authentication.
