How to edit the IP range for Web Clock-in/out in Capture scheme?

Modified on Thu, 15 Jun, 2023 at 12:06 PM

An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a unique numerical identifier for every device or network that connects to the Internet. When the admin adds an IP network range for web clock-in/out in the Capture Scheme, then the employees can only clock in/out while being present in that IP network range only.

The admin might need to change the IP address range at any given point in time due to a change of the network or due to the addition of a new network. Let us see how the admin can change the IP range.

Go to the Time Attend (1) section of the Keka portal and click on Settings (2). Then, go to the IP Networks (3) tab.

Click on the Update icon against the network whose IP address range needs to be edited.

Here, you can edit the IP address range by either rewriting the From and To range previously configured or you can also add a new range by clicking on +Add Range (2). Once you have made the necessary changes or additions, click on Update (3).

Once the IP network is updated here, the system will automatically update the details in the Capture Scheme where this network is mapped.
