Introduction to Asset Reports

Asset reports in Keka provide valuable insights and comprehensive information about the assets within an organization. These reports assist administrators in effectively managing and tracking assets, making informed decisions, and maintaining accurate records.


Accessing Asset Reports

For Admins

To access the asset reports in Keka, follow these steps:


Navigate to Org from the left pane and select the Assets tab. Here, go to the Reports tab.


In the Reports section, you will find three reports available for assets: All Assets in Each Asset Type, All Assets, and Recovered Assets.



All Assets in Each Asset Type Report

The All Assets in Each Asset Type report provides a list of all assets categorized by asset type, including all fields (standard and custom). To generate this report, follow these steps:


Click on the report name, All Assets in Each Asset Type, on the Reports page.


A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to set filters for the report. Select the desired filters, such as:

   - Asset categories

   - Asset types

   - Asset status

   - Asset location

   - Warranty status

   - Warranty expiration date


After selecting the filters, click the Run button to generate the report. The report will be displayed; you can download it in Excel format by clicking the download icon.


You can also customize the columns shown in the report by clicking on the three dots under Column Options


The downloaded report will have all the columns irresprctive of the selections you make



All Assets Report

The All Assets report lists all assets grouped by category and asset type. To access this report, follow these steps:


Click on the report name, All Assets, on the Reports page.


The report containing all the assets will be displayed. To download the report, click the Download icon. The report will be downloaded in Excel format.


You can customize the columns shown in the report by clicking on the three dots under Column Options. Remember that in the downloaded report, all columns will be included regardless of the selection made.



Recovered Assets Report

The Recovered Assets report provides a list of all recovered assets. To generate this report, follow these steps:


Click on the report name, Recovered Assets, on the Reports page. In the pop-up window, select the desired filters for the report, such as:

   - Asset recovered on date

   - Asset category

   - Asset type

   - Asset location


After selecting the filters, click the Run button to generate the report. The report will be displayed, and you can download it in Excel or PDF format by clicking the download icon.


Similar to the previous reports, you can customize the columns shown by clicking on the three dots under Column Options


All columns will be included in the downloaded report irrespective of the column options you have selected.



By accessing reports such as All Assets in Each Asset Type, All Assets, and Recovered Assets, admins can effectively manage assets, make informed decisions, and maintain accurate records. The ability to customize columns and download reports in Excel format further enhances the usability of these asset reports in Keka.
