How to create an announcement?

Keeping employees in the loop is crucial for any organization, whether it's about updated policies, upcoming events, or other news. With Keka, you can easily make these announcements on 'the wall,' eliminating the need to email each team or department individually.

To create a new announcement, simply navigate to the Org (1) section on the Keka Portal. From there, go to the Engage (2) tab and click on Announcements (3). On the right side of the screen, you'll find the + New Announcement (4) button. Click it to start sharing your news.

Once you're in the announcement creation section, you'll see fields where you can add the Title and content of your announcement. While adding a header image and files is optional, it can make your message more engaging.

After entering the title and content, you'll see "Publish Options" where you can customize who sees your announcement. Choose to target all employees or specify by department and location.

You'll also have the option to notify employees via email about the new announcement. If you'd like to require an acknowledgment from employees or set a date to hide the announcement, those settings are available too.

Finally, you can either click "Publish" to make the announcement live, or if you're not yet ready, click "Save Draft" to save it for later.

There is one more way from where an announcement can be published:

To access announcements on Keka, first navigate to the Home (1) section of the Keka Portal. Then, move on to the Dashboard section (2). On this page, look to the right-hand side and select Announcement (3). This is where you'll find all the latest updates and news for your organization.

After clicking on Announcement, fill in the Title and Details. Choose the department you want to target from the dropdown. You'll also see checkboxes below the Details; select those that apply. Finally, click on Post to make your announcement live.

And that's how your announcement will be posted on the wall, making it visible to the targeted departments or the entire team based on your settings.
