How to create a Poll?

Modified on Mon, 28 Aug, 2023 at 4:05 PM

Within a company, it's essential to give every employee a voice in organizational matters. Keka offers a convenient solution through its Polls feature. This feature allows all employees to contribute their perspectives on different subjects.

You have two straightforward ways to initiate the creation of a poll within the Keka platform.

Method 1:

Go to the Home (1) section of the Keka Portal, then go to the Dashboard (2). Here, on the right-hand side, select Poll (3).

For non-admin users, the Dashboard is the default Home screen.

After clicking on the Poll option, you'll be prompted to provide information about the poll's topic and its available options. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to choose the relevant department from a dropdown menu where you intend to post the poll.

Furthermore, you can use checkboxes to indicate specific settings, and if needed, specify the poll's expiry date. Once all the necessary details are in place, simply click the "Post" button to finalize the poll.

Once you click on Post, the poll you have created will be published on the wall.

Method 2:
Go to the Org (1) section of the Keka Portal, then go to the Engage (2) and then click on Polls (3)

Once you are on the Polls section, click on +New Poll or +Create Poll

Now another section will open up where you can create a poll.

Include essential details such as the topic of the poll and the available poll options. Subsequently, you can proceed to configure the poll settings based on your needs.

These settings encompass the ability to choose the target audience—whether the poll should be accessible to all employees or specific departments and locations. Moreover, you can opt for email notifications to inform employees, set a poll expiry date, and if necessary, make use of Additional Settings according to your preferences.

Once you've completed these configurations, you can either click on the Publish button or save the poll as a draft for future use by selecting the Save Draft option beside Publish.
