Tracking the attendance of employees is crucial for organizations to manage their workforce efficiently. Using an attendance capturing system integrated with Keka, the attendance numbers are used to keep track of employees' clock-ins and clock-outs. It is crucial to ensure that the correct attendance numbers are mapped to the correct employees to avoid any discrepancies.
Fortunately, Keka provides a solution to add or update attendance numbers for employees in bulk. To do so, navigate to the Org section of your Keka portal and select the Summary section under Dashboard. From here, you can access the Quick Links section and click on Import Employee Job Details.
A new window will open, prompting you to download an Excel Template. You can choose to download the sheet with information for all employees or a specific group of employees filtered by Date of Joining, Business Unit, Department, Location, Cost Center, and Job Title.
Ensure that the Employee Number, Location, Date of Joining, Probation End Date, Attendance Number, Weekly Off, and Shift are accurately updated in the downloaded sheet. Save the sheet on your system and upload it to the portal using the Upload Excel File button.
After uploading the sheet, verify that the column headings and data match and preview the data to be imported. If there are no errors, click Complete, and a confirmation dialogue box will appear. Click Confirm to import the data, and the attendance number for all employees will be updated in the Keka repository.
In conclusion, maintaining accurate attendance records is crucial for organizations, and Keka provides an efficient solution for bulk updating attendance numbers. If you have any further doubts, feel free to reach out to Keka's support team for assistance.
