How to generate monthly PF ECR report

If your organization is registered under the Provident Fund and both the employer and employees are contributing to the EPF amounts, then you need to file the contribution details on the EPFO portal every month. This can be done by logging in and uploading an Excel template. Keka makes it easier for you by generating a PF ECR report, which is the file that needs to be uploaded during the monthly filing process. 


To generate a monthly PF ECR report, log in to your Keka portal and find the Payroll (1) tab on the left pane. Click on it and then on Reports (2). Click on Payroll Contribution and Tax (3).


 

Scroll down and find PF Statutory Forms and click on 2. PF Monthly Electronic Return (ECR).


 

Now, select the pay group (if you have multiple pay groups) using the Pay Group dropdown. Choose Year and Month. Enter PF Establishment ID  (given in the filing details) and choose between ECR V2 or Arrear ECR. Now, click Run. 


 

The PF (ECR) report will be generated based on the parameters selected. 

Click on the download icon to save the report in Excel, PDF, or Text format.
