There are many different job boards from where talent is sourced for an organization. Keka Hire already has integration with major job boards such as LinkedIn and Naukri, but we also understand that talent might also be sourced from other job boards where integration might not be possible yet.
To counter this void, ,we have come up with a chrome extention that
Recruiters often spend a lot of time sourcing and adding candidates into the system, which can be a time-consuming and tedious process. There is a need for a more efficient way to quickly source and add candidates to the system. While the system may not have integration with all job boards, recruiters can still download candidate profiles in PDF format and use the Chrome extension to quickly parse the information and add candidates to the system
Why?
- Difficulty in sourcing candidates from multiple job boards due to the absence of integration.
- Lack of a quick, simple, and user-friendly interface for adding candidates to the system.
Goals and Objectives
The goal of the Keka Hire Chrome extension is to simplify candidate sourcing and management for recruiters. The objectives are:
- To provide a user-friendly interface for recruiters to quickly parse candidate information and add candidates to the system.
- To allow recruiters to import candidate profiles from the most popular online networks.
- To save time and effort for recruiters, allowing them to focus on screening profiles and reaching out to candidates.
- Users can access the Keka Hire Sourcing Extension by going to their profile in Keka Hire and clicking on the link to download/install it. This link will take them to the Chrome Marketplace where they can read the details and download the extension. Once installed, the extension will become part of the toolbar, and we recommend users to pin it.
- When users are exploring candidates on LinkedIn or Naukri and they find a profile they are interested in, they can simply download the PDF or resume.
- To use the extension, users can click on the Keka icon in the toolbar, which will open a side pop-up/widget.
- From the widget, users can select the job or talent pool where they want to add a candidate. They will get all the candidate fields as per the configuration. If users don't have any talent pool, they will get a link to create a new one if they have the privilege. Clicking on that link will open the talent pool screen in a new tab, where users can create the pool and come back to the Chrome extension. Clicking on the refresh icon will start showing the talent pool.
- Users can simply drag and drop/upload the downloaded resume/PDF, and the extension/widget will parse the candidate information.
- When adding a candidate to a job, the extension/widget allows the recruiter to select the stage where they want to keep the candidate.
- When adding a candidate to a job, the extension/widget allows the recruiter to select the owner of the candidate.
- The extension/widget also allows the recruiter to add tags to the candidate while adding them to the talent pool.
- The automation workflow will be triggered, and if email is included as an action, it will be sent accordingly.
Cases when user may not be able to add candidate through Chrome extension:
- User is not part of any active job, hence cannot add a candidate to a job from the extension, but can add them to the talent pool.
- User is not part of any talent pool but has the privilege of creating a talent pool. So they can either create a new pool and add candidates there, or simply add candidates to the job.
- User is not part of any talent pool and does not have the privilege of creating a talent pool. So they can only add candidates to the job if they are part of any active job.
- User is neither part of any active job nor part of a talent pool. Hence can’t add candidates at both places.
- User does not have the privilege of adding candidates, hence cannot add candidates to a pool or job.
