Project managers and client managers can request for more resources for any project depending on their needs. The resource management team is typically in charge of allocating the resources. You can manage the various resource requests from the Resource Requests section in the Resource tab of Keka PSA.

Go to Project (1) from the left navigation pane and select the Resources tab (2) . Go to the Resource Requests tab (3) here.

The Pending Resource Requests tab will show the various requests that are yet to be actioned. The Closed Resource Requests tab contains information regarding resource requests that you received previously and have either approved or rejected.

To action a particular resource request, click on the three dots under the Actions column. You will see the various options available to you. To approve a resource requests and allocate a resource to the project, select Allocate from the drop-down.

This will take you to the Allocate Resource window from which you can select an assign a suitable resource for the project. If you want to reject a resource request, select Reject from the drop-down.

This will open up the Reject Resource Request window. Enter a reason for rejection and then click Reject.

You can also choose to comment on a request for more information or to convey an information. Select Comment from the drop-down to do this. Add your comment in the Comments window and press the Enter key to submit.

Hope that helps you understand how to view and manage the various resource requests that you receive. More questions? Talk to our product experts today!
