How to edit a Role Rate ?

Modified on Mon, 8 Jan at 3:40 PM

A rate card is a pricing guide that outlines the standard rates and fees for products, services, or any other offerings provided by a company or an organization. It serves as a reference tool for both the service provider and potential clients to understand the cost structure and pricing details. However, it's important to note that rates on a rate card are often negotiable, and customized pricing can be determined based on specific client requirements or agreements. Keka offers you the ability to edit the Rate card on a Resource level or based on a Job role.

First, let us take a look at how we can edit a Rate card based on Job Role.

Navigate to Project (1), then click on Finances (2) & select Rate Cards (3). Select the Rate Card under which the Roles are added. Then, Click on the 3 Dots (4) & click on Edit (5).

On the Overlay window, edit the Bill rate (1) & click on Update (2).

Now let us take a look at how we can edit a Rate card for a resource added under a Project.

Navigate to Project (1), then click on the Projects (2) tab. You will be directed to the Project List (3). Under the Project List, select Active Projects (4) to view the projects that are currently active. Then, click on the Project Name (5), in which the Employee is added.

On the next window for the selected project, go to Team (1), and under Active Allocation, you will find the list of employees who are currently working on the project. You can then click on the Edit (2) icon to edit the resources's bill rate.

Then click on the BILL RATE (1), and enter the New Rate (2). Once done, click on Update (3) to save the new Rate for that particular resource.

Once the changes are made, click on the Check option to Save the changes.

The changes will now be updated.
