Introduction
In Keka, you can designate certain days from weekly shits schedule to be weekly offs which will provide employees with the necessary downtime for employees, reducing stress and preventing burnout, ultimately increasing retention and efficiency. A well-designed weekly-shift schedule helps avoid conflicting shifts, overwork, and uncertainty around working hours.
To create weekly offs, you can either start from scratch or use templates. Navigate to:
Time Attend (1) >> Shifts/Weekly Offs & Holidays (2) >> Shifts & Weekly offs (3) >> Weekly Offs(4)
On this page, you can find the weekly off policies configured for your organisation.
To add a new one, click, +Add Weekly Off (5). You'll then see the options to create from scratch or select from a template.
Creating a Weekly Off from Scratch
In the Add Weekly Off' window, add the Weekly Off Name, a Description, and Select the Weekly Off Days.
Once you select a day, options to decide the frequency of the weekly offs (1) will appear. And also if it’s a full-day or half-day off (2).
Click on Save (3) once you’re satisfied with all the parameters.
Creating a Weekly Off using templates
On the Add Weekly Off window, you can choose the template that best matches your requirements.
Once you select a template, you just have to Name this policy a name and click Add.
Tracking and Managing Weekly Offs
If you want to view/edit/delete any of the weekly off policies, find the Weekly Off Policy (1) using the list and then go to Track Weekly Off Versions (2).
Here, you will find the options to view, edit, and delete (3) the weekly off policy.
Clicking the same will take you to the Update Weekly Off Screen similar to the one you were shown while creating it.
