Introduction

After establishing Attendance Capture and Tracking policies to ensure punctuality and compliance, the next step is to assign these policies to your employees. In this article, we will show you can allocate different policies to your employees, both individually and in bulk.

Initial Steps

To get started, navigate to the Time Attend (1) >> Attendance Tracking (2)

Here you'll see a tab each, Capture Scheme Allocation and Tracking Policy Allocation.

Allocating Attendance Capture Policies

You'll find a list of all employees in your organization. Filter the list by department, location, or current capture policy to make allocation easier.

Next, choose the employee(s) you wish to allocate a policy to and hit the Update Capture Scheme button.

A pop-up will appear; select the new Capture Policy and click Update Capture Scheme again.

If you want to change the policy for a single employee, click the edit icon under the Actions column next to that employee and make your changes.

Allocating Penalization Policies

The process is quite similar to Attendance Capture allocation. The only difference is you need to set an effective date for the policy to avoid confusion.

Pick the employee(s) to allocate the policy to and click Update Tracking Policy

A pop-up will appear; select the new Tracking Policy, and the effective date range (you can also make the assignment indefinite).

You can also choose to exempt the employees from tracking policy penalization.

Then, just click Update Tracking Policy again.

Like before, you can change a specific employee's policy by clicking the edit icon under the Actions column next to their name.

Admins can also update these allocations from the Job section in each employee's profile.

And that's it! You've successfully allocated Attendance Capture and Penalization policies to your employees.
