Keka Inbox is the one place you go to if you want to see the various actions that are pending on you. Many actions on Keka require approvals or acknowledgements. There may also be certain actions like filling in review forms, probation feedback, and others which also show up in your Keka Inbox.
Keka Inbox categorizes the various requests and places them into various categories like Leave Request, Profile, Assets, Expense, and more. You can view the requests and also approve or reject these directly from the inbox.
To access the Keka Inbox, select the Inbox tab from the left navigation pane. If there are actions pending on you, you can see the number of such actions on the notifications that show up on the Inbox icon on the left navigation pane. In the case below, there are 8 actions pending on the user.
Here on the left, you can find the various pending tasks. Select the category you want to take action on here.
Let's say you want to approve leave requests that have been made by the members of your team. In this case, select the Leave Requests category. You will see all the leave requests pending on you here. You can approve these requests individually or more than one at a time.
To approve just one request, select the request and then click on Approve. You can also add a note in the field provided.
You can also select multiple requests at once and approve or reject all of them.
For aspects like expense claims that are pending on you for approval, you also have the option to make changes to the claim from the inbox. Let us consider an example where the claimed amount is higher than the limit and you want to change the amount.
To do this, select Expense from the left pane titled Pending Tasks and select the expense to consider. You can see the particulars of the expense claim here. Click on the three dots icon under the Actions column and select Change Amount from the drop-down.
You can now enter a revised amount in the Revise Amount popup and save the changes.
You can directly access other tasks that show up in your inbox, including aspects like probation feedback for you and for your team members, review forms when a review cycle is active, and more.
